The Ctercteko Relationship
Victor Ernest Ctercteko came into my life when I was a baby of 12 - 18 months old. He and my mother Bernice Waters [nee Jones] formed a relationship that was to last until their deaths in 1992 and 1993. I was never adopted by Vic but always assumed the Ctercteko name until I was to get married. It was at this time I changed my name by deed poll to Ctercteko.
The Ctercteko name has a mysterious part to it's history that has yet to be unraveled, i.e. where did the name originate from, why did they change from the original name, believed to be Kypreotus, where in the Mediterranean did Peter William migrate from. It is hoped that by the publication of this section of my family history that others may read these notes and be able to contribute more to the lineage and also help in unraveling the mysteries of the name "Ctercteko"
